Abstract
he world?s challenges are becoming more and more complex and adapting to those challenges will increasingly come from teams of people innovating together.
The Practitioner?s Handbook of Team Coaching provides a dedicated and systematic guide to some of the most fundamental issues concerning the practice of team coaching. It seeks to enhance practice through illustrating and exploring an array of contextual issues and complexities entrenched in it. The aim of the volume is to provide a comprehensive overview of the field and, furthermore, to enhance the understanding and practice of team coaching. To do so, the editorial team presents, synthesizes and integrates relevant theories, research and practices that comprise and undergird team coaching. This book is, therefore, an invaluable specialist tool for team coaches of all levels; from novice to seasoned practitioners. With team coaching assuming an even more prominent place in institutional and organizational contexts nowadays, the book is bound to become an indispensable resource for any coaching training course, as well as a continuing professional development tool.
This book is essential reading for anyone with an interest in coaching, in both practice and educational settings. It will be of use not only for professional coaches, but also for leaders, managers, HR professionals, learners and educators, in the business, public, independent and voluntary sectors.

Abstract
Text provides 15 best practices to enhance individual frontline staff investment in organizational goals and elevate institutional performance. The authors recommend a three-part framework to instill frontline accountability: 1) Enhance frontline staff members' line-of-sight between their discrete, day-to-day actions and the institution's overall performance against key goals. 2) Create a culture of shared responsibility in which nurses feel individual responsibility for not only their own patients but all outcomes and goals. 3) Provide frontline staff with a personal stake in organizational performance.

Abstract
The highly anticipated follow-up to Simon Sinek?s global bestseller Start with Why Simon Sinek is an optimist, a visionary thinker, and a leader of the cultural revolution of WHY. His second book is the natural extension of Start with Why, expanding his ideas at the organizational level. Determining a company?s WHY is crucial, but only the beginning. The next step is how do you get people on board with your WHY? How do you inspire deep trust and commitment to the company and one another? He cites the Marine Corps for having found a way to build a culture in which men and women are willing to risk their lives, because they know others would do the same for them. It?s not brainwashing; it?s actually based on the biology of how and when people are naturally at their best. If businesses could adopt this supportive mentality, employees would be more motivated to take bigger risks, because they?d know their colleagues and company would back them up, no matter what. Drawing on powerful and inspiring stories, Sinek shows how to sustain an organization?s WHY while continually adding people to the mix.

Abstract
Jon Kabat-Zinn is regarded as "one of the finest teachers of mindfulness you'll ever encounter" (Jack Kornfield). He has been teaching the tangible benefits of meditation in the mainstream for decades. Today, millions of people around the world have taken up a formal mindfulness meditation practice as part of their everyday lives. But what is meditation anyway? And why might it be worth trying? Or nurturing further if you already have practice?
Meditation Is Not What You Think answers those questions. Originally published in 2005 as part of a larger book entitled Coming to Our Senses, it has been updated with a new foreword by the author and is even more relevant today. If you're curious as to why meditation is not for the "faint-hearted," how taking some time each day to drop into awareness can actually be a radical act of love, and why paying attention is so supremely important, consider this book an invitation to learn more--from one of the pioneers of the worldwide mindfulness movement.

Abstract
Nursing programs everywhere are looking to evidence-based practice (EBP) with renewed enthusiasm. This is often sparked by an effort to elevate clinical quality and improve outcomes, but nursing programs also turn to EBPs as a way to reinvigorate the practice environment. EBP de-emphasizes ritual or ungrounded opinion as a basis for practice, and instead stresses the use of protocols and procedures substantiated by evidence. Changing bedside practice is no easy undertaking. Ultimately, establishing and maintaining EBP requires a shift in culture. Few nursing programs have historically emphasized evidence. Many hospitals are starting from scratch as they encourage nurses to read, evaluate, and use evidence in their daily practice. Evidence-Based Nursing Practice provides lessons for establishing a culture of evidence, with an emphasis on nurse-led EBP. Such lessons were gleaned from hospitals that have successfully sustained an EBP program, as well as those that are in the nascent stages.

Ventilation
Abstract
Written by outstanding authorities from all over the world, this comprehensive new textbook on pediatric and neonatal ventilation puts the focus on the effective delivery of respiratory support to children, infants and newborns. In the early chapters, developmental issues concerning the respiratory system are considered, physiological and mechanical principles are introduced and airway management and conventional and alternative ventilation techniques are discussed. Thereafter, the rational use of mechanical ventilation in various pediatric and neonatal pathologies is explained, with the emphasis on a practical step-by-step approach. Respiratory monitoring and safety issues in ventilated patients are considered in detail, and many other topics of interest to the bedside clinician are covered, including the ethics of withdrawal of respiratory support and educational issues. Throughout, the text is complemented by numerous illustrations and key information is clearly summarized in tables and lists.
